Youth soccer in the United States is switching back to it’s previous team formation guidelines, where each age group has August 1st as it’s oldest date of birth in an age group, and July 31st of the following year as the youngest date of birth in the age group. This aligns more with grade level in school than the birth-year formation that was the norm for the past 9 years. See 2026-2027 age groups below and which programs are offered at each age.

August 1, 2020 – July 31, 2021 – U6 – Recreational
August 1, 2019 – July 31, 2020 – U7 – Recreational, advanced players may try-out for U8 Junior Academy
August 1, 2018 – July 31, 2019 – U8 – Recreational, Junior Academy
August 1, 2017 – July 31, 2018 – U9 – Recreational, Junior Academy
August 1, 2016 – July 31, 2017 – U10 – Recreational, Junior Academy

TRYOUT DATES – ALL TRYOUTS AT ROAD 36 SOCCER COMPLEX IN PASCO (adjacent to PSC Airport and GolfLand). All tryouts start at 6pm, but arrive 15 minutes early for registration. All players trying out need to be registered and have paid their $175 deposit for 2026-2027 club dues.

Note that registration and $175 deposit for 2026/2027 Club Dues is required. To pay the $175 deposit, select ‘Payment Plan’ instead of ‘Full Payment’ when registering. Note that this is not a “tryout fee” that many other clubs of our size and competitive level charge you for trying out. It’s a deposit to show that you are serious about joining our club. If a player is not selected for a team, the deposit is refunded. If a player is selected for a team, that $175 goes towards the first payment for your annual club dues.
Our Registration Software’s card processor charges for each transaction, so choosing full payment instead of payment plan will result in less third-party processing fees charged to your card.
