District (or WPL) is our third tier of competitive play for U13-U19, and our second tier of competitive play for U11-U12.
The district program (U11-U19) plays in the Washington Premier League (WPL) Copa or Classic Divisions. Teams from this league come from Eastern and Central Washington.
Teams usually play 10 games in the fall, and 6-8 games in the spring. For U15 and older, boys will play a single season in the Fall, girls will play a single season in the Spring, due to High School Soccer.
Typical dates for District (WPL) league play are – Fall: second weekend of September through first week of November. Spring: Mid-March through first weekend of May. There is no league play during winter for this level of play.
Teams participate in 1-2 summer tournaments.
Coaches at the district level receive a stipend (or reduced player fees if a parent coach).
This level of play features no overnight stay for league games, and generally less tournaments per year than the Premier (RCL) teams. Most games are on Saturdays, although occasionally Sunday games will be played.
